10 days in Morocco from Marrakech. Your adventure in Morocco will begin with a transfer upon arriving at the airport in Marrakech. Soon after landing, enjoy a quick ride through the life of the city. Afterward, you would be brought to your riad, a traditionally styled Moroccan house, where you would relax and unwind for a peaceful first night.
After breakfast, we set off to the west, with Essaouira, a coastal settlement, as our final destination. To the west lies an Argan tree farm, where we can see the trees and one of the cooperatives: if luck prevails, you can witness goats climbing the very trees! After a brief stop, admiring the panoramas, we will head towards the beautiful seaside gem of Essaouira, formerly Mogador. During our time in town, we will have free time to amble through the fishing port and absorb the atmosphere, perhaps ambling along the sea walls bearing artillery and passing through the evocative and ancient heart of the medina. We overnight in Essaouira.
Back to Marrakech. Some of the legendary sights of the city will be seen today with a local native as a guide. Marrakech is one of the great imperial cities of Morocco, where much history resides and where fabulous architecture is found. Our guided tour includes:
the breathtaking Bahia Palace, dating back to the 1800s,
The immaculately preserved Ben Youssef Madrasa, once an Islamic learning center and illustrates typical Moroccan artistry.
Besides, you'll make your way through the crowded Medina and its souks, buzzing with vivid displays and talented craftspeople, soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Jamaa El Fna Square, and finally take a peek at the famous Koutoubia Mosque, earning its fame as an impressive landmark along the city skyline.
The tour will take you through the marvellous High Atlas mountains, with views over Tizi-N-Tichka pass, with stops at several sites for the views of breathtaking landscapes and Berber Villages.
The famed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is reached-these fortifications are a UNESCO-listed site. This site is famous for its shooting of numerous films, including Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, and famous TV shows such as Game of Thrones. A 40-minute walk gives an opportunity to visit the kasbah and enjoy the view of the panoramic scenery from the top.
Then we continue onto Ouarzazate-"The gateway to the desert" - with free time for lunch and then onto the Rose valley through the palm grove of Skoura. Finally, we will drive to Boumalne Dades, where we will spend the night. (Dinner Included).
We have breakfast in the morning and depart for the Dades Valley, stopping at a stunning viewpoint. We then continue to the breath-taking Todra Gorges, where the Todra River carved out a magnificent canyon encased by vertical red cliffs. There will be free time for you to stroll through the gorge and take delight in the natural beauty of this unique landscape.
We then resume the journey through the lush palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, pausing for lunch along the way.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the golden dunes of the Merzouga Sahara Desert, where our camels await. Enjoy a serene camel ride across the sands, pausing on a high dune to absorb the mesmerizing desert sunset. Following this, you'll continue to an upscale desert camp where you're welcomed with the true Berber hospitality. After dinner, enjoy Berber drumming and dancing beside the campfire, then overnight in the camp.
For you to be able to relish the mesmerizing dawn over the desert, it becomes essential to wake up early in the morning. After enjoying some leisure time, one should have breakfast. Next, travel to Merzouba using either camels or a 4X4, where a shuttle will await. The remainder of the day is dedicated to exploring the regions of Merzouba. This region has a lot of spectacular sites, from sweeping dunes and a wild lake to old mines, fossil fields, and stunning oases, which are all suited for all kinds of adventure activities.
With that, we go on from Merzoub, driving off-road to reach an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we head to visit nomadic families inside their hand-woven tents and avail ourselves of their way of life through enjoying Berber tea. Next is the village of Khamlia, where you can hear merry Gnaoua music and dancing that will entertain you. This area is home to people who trace their ancestry to sub-Saharan nations such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. The time is then free for lunch at the local restaurant. After that, we will walk through a palm-tree grove, cover a few kilometres to have a glimpse of Merzouba's wild lake, or flamingo lake. The last day has dinner, and it ends with an overnight experience in a riad beside the dunes.
After breakfast, we exited the desert and headed toward Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani retains its importance as a major trade center in the region, with a market alive on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Following a stroll around the Rissani market, we drove to Erfoud to visit one of the fossilized‑marble workshops.
Then we went along the Ziz River and stopped to enjoy a panoramic view of the Ziz valley. For lunch, it is free time, either in Midelt or on the way. We then head for the cedar forest, home of the Barbary macaques: feel free to feed them while strolling through the woods. The next stop is Ifrane, known for its cool weather, snow, and Alpine-style houses; it's no wonder it is also known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Finally, the night would be in Fez, giving you the evening free to explore the Medina.

Accompanied by a local guide, the itinerary includes treasures such as the Al Attarine Madrasa, the University and Mosque of Al Quaraouiyine, said to be the oldest continuously operating university in the world, and the colorful Chouara Tanneries, where leather is dyed by century-old methods.
By the end of your unforgettable journey through history, you will be returned to your riad for a little relaxation.
After breakfast, we took the road toward Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of the historical imperial cities. Here we visit Bab Al‐Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal Stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After this, we have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we drive about 30 km away from Meknes to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. This well-maintained site is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has an extraordinary number of beautiful mosaics distributed among its ancient columns and arches.
After the Roman site visit, we continue north through Ouazzane and head to Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Also known as the Blue City, Chefchaouen is famed for its picturesque streets and buildings painted in various shades of blue. The rest of the evening is free for you to relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the town. Overnight in a local riad.
After having breakfast, we drive through the beautiful Rif Mountains to reach Tangier Airport, where the memorable ten-day journey from Marrakech comes to an end.
Depending on your flight schedule, you might have a few hours of free time to wander through the enchanting blue-washed alleys of Chefchaouen or even take a brief city tour of Tangier.
