Take a unique 10-day tour of Morocco from Marrakech and Essaouira to Fes and Chefchaouen, crossing the Sahara. This immersive 9-night experience will explore magnificent sites. The itinerary hosts some amazing spots:
First, discover the majestic sites of Marrakech and Essaouira, then travel through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, with a chance to view the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Discover history with visits to the Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah and the city of Ouarzazate. Following the thrilling adventure of the Amridil Kasbah are the Dades Valley and the spectacular Todra Gorges. A treat is the mesmerising Merzouga Sahara desert. Be in for a camel trekking delight across the Sahara! Be awed by enchanting sunsets and sunrises, and sleep beneath the stars in a desert camp. Embark on an adventure through the Merzouga Sahara Desert in 4×4 vehicles.
Next, get to know the traditional market of Rissani. Then you head to Erfoud, a city famous for its fossils. Your next destination will be Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco, along with cedar forests where Barbary macaques live. Explore the imperial cities of Fes and Meknes. The tour ends with a visit to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and concludes in the iconic blue city of Chefchaouen and Tangier.
10 days in Morocco from Marrakech. Your adventure in Morocco will begin with a transfer upon arriving at the airport in Marrakech. Soon after landing, enjoy a quick ride through the life of the city. Afterward, you would be brought to your riad, a traditionally styled Moroccan house, where you would relax and unwind for a peaceful first night.
After breakfast, we set off to the west, with Essaouira, a coastal settlement, as our final destination. To the west lies an Argan tree farm, where we can see the trees and one of the cooperatives: if luck prevails, you can witness goats climbing the very trees! After a brief stop, admiring the panoramas, we will head towards the beautiful seaside gem of Essaouira, formerly Mogador. During our time in town, we will have free time to amble through the fishing port and absorb the atmosphere, perhaps ambling along the sea walls bearing artillery and passing through the evocative and ancient heart of the medina. We overnight in Essaouira.
