Itinerary
Day 1: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis ruins – Chefchaouen
Your 7-day excursion starts with early morning airport or hotel pickup from Fes. We will continue our journey to Meknes, which functioned as the Ismaili dynasty capital and remains one of Morocco’s imperial cities. The Meknes itinerary includes visits to Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani water reservoir, Royal Stables, granary complex,x and Moulay Ismail tomb. The group will have a designated time to eat lunch. After lunch, we will drive 30 kilometers south from Meknes to visit the ancient Roman site of Volubilis. The archaeological site maintains its well-preserved condition, which leads to its recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The site contains many interesting mosaics, which spread throughout the area and include ancient remains of columns and arches.
After we explore the ruins, we will proceed northward through Ouazzane to reach our final destination for the day, which is Chefchaoue,n located in the Rif Mountains. This area is commonly known as the Blue City. The city is famous worldwide for its buildings and narrow streets, ts which are painted in different shades of blue. The local hotel will provide overnight accommodations for the guests.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Rabat the capital
After you finish your breakfast, you can start exploring the blue city whenever you want. Our journey begins after breakfast when we head to Rabat through the Rif mountain range. Rabat functions as Morocco’s capital while also being one of the country’s three imperial cities. The area is located in the northwestern section of Morocco, which borders the Atlantic Ocean. Your travel plan includes visiting all the main attractions of the city. The main attractions include Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. The night will be spent in a traditional Riad.
Day 3: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech
We begin our day with breakfast before our expedition, which starts in Rabat to follow the coastal path that leads to Casablanca. The urban center functions as Morocco’s principal economic engine,e while it also holds the status of being the country’s most populated city. Our first destination takes us to the Hassan IIMosque,ue which stands as the second-largest mosque in all of Africa. The Casablanca Corniche will serve as our walking route, which will lead us to Mohammed V Square and then to the famous Rick’s Café. Our journey reaches its conclusion when we travel from the coastal area to Marrakech,h which is commonly known as the “Red City” and was an imperial city in historical times. You will have sufficient time to explore the famous Jemaa El-Fna square at your own pace. The day will end with our stay in a traditional Riad accommodation.
Day 4: Guided Tour sightseeing Marrakesh
The schedule for our day begins after we finish our breakfast with an exploration of Marrakesh’s main attractions, together with a local guide. The city of Marrakech functions as a historical capital because it contains numerous cultural heritage sites and beautiful architectural structures that define Moroccan national identity. The tour includes a visit to the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century building, and a tour of the Ben Youssef Madrasa, which showcases traditional Moroccan design and served as an Islamic educational institution. The Medina’s vibrant markets will let you experience the lively spirit of Jamaa El Fna Square and witness the Koutoubia Mosque’s exterior, which stands as the biggest religious center in the city.
You can choose to have lunch whenever you want throughout the day. The afternoon program starts with a chauffeur pickup, who will take you to Majorelle Garden, which requires online booking before your visit, and then we will drive through Gueliz before returning you to your hotel.
Day 5: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait ben Haddou Kasbah– Roses Vally – Dades Valley
The Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass leads us through the beautiful High Atlas range during our journey. We will take a break at scenic points to watch the beautiful landscapes, while we watch the Berber people who live in the nearby mountain areas.
The historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which protected its territory through fortifications, will be our next destination after we complete this leg of our journey. The location has been used in many movies because it became famous for filming major Hollywood productions, such as Gladiator,d Alexander, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. The kasbah area will be explored by visitors through a 40-minute walking tour, which ends at the viewing point that offers complete 360-degree views.
Our next path leads us to Ouarzazat,e which people call “The gate of the desert.” After our lunch break, we will drive to Rose Valley while passing through Skoura’s large palm oasis. The day ends at Boumalne Dades, where we will spend the night. (Dinner will be provided.
Day 6: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes – Camel trekking – overnight in a luxury camp
Our journey begins after breakfast when we travel through Dades Valley to see our scheduled stop at the viewpoint which shows wide-ranging landscapes. The route leads us to the Todra Gorges which display natural beauty through its canyon created by the Todra River between two high red rock cliffs. Visitors will have free time to explore the gorge while experiencing the natural beauty of this special area. The path takes us through Touroug and Tinjdad palm oases which show us their green spaces while we take our midday break at a location which we choose during our travels.
The afternoon brings us to the stunning golden shores of Merzouga Sahara Desert where our camels await to take us on our journey. Experience a peaceful camel excursion through the dunes which includes a stop at a tall dune to witness the beautiful desert sunset. The team will bring us to their premium desert base where they will greet us with the traditional Berber hospitality. People will enjoy their meal while they listen to Berber musicians who perform drumming and dancing at the nighttime fire. The camp will serve as our accommodation for the entire night.
Day 7: Merzouga Dunes – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedars forest – Ifrane – Fes
After we finish our breakfast, we complete our desert trek by traveling to Rissani, which served as the main city for Tafilalet during historic times. Rissani remains an important commercial center for the region because its vibrant market operates with maximum activity on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Our path leads us from the Rissani market to Erfoud, where we will explore a facility that displays fossilized marble.
We follow the Ziz River until we reach a lookout point that provides complete views of the Ziz Valley. The lunch schedule permits dining either in Midelt or at locations along the journey. The area serves as a habitat for Barbary Apes, who reside in cedar groves; visitors may feed the apes while they explore the forest. The itinerary then takes us to Ifrane, which is famous for its extremely cold weather and heavy snowfall and its architecture that resembles Alpine chalets, so it has earned the nickname “Moroccan Switzerland.” Your Fes drop-off marks the end of our trip. The Camel ride is 40 minutes to 1.5 hours long, depending on which camp you are staying in.
The meeting point for the tour is at 09 a.m. at any location within Marrakech. If your Riad is accessible by car, we will pick you up directly from there. In case of accessibility issues, we will pick you up from the nearest accessible road point. This can be arranged upon confirmation of your booking.
At the end of the tour, we will drop you off at any location in Tangier or its surroundings.
