Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara

The 5-day excursion begins with an immediate collection from either the airport or your Fes hotel room. Our expedition advances to the southern region, which we will travel through Imouzzer to reach Ifrane. Ifrane is famous for its cold weather and snowfall,s which give the city its alpine chalet architectural style and earned it the name “Switzerland of Morocco.” The next destination on our path leads us to the cedar forests, which serve as the natural habitat for Barbary Apes. You may bring food to the forest area, where you can explore freely. Our travel path leads us to Midelt, where we will have our lunch. The route toward the Sahara proceeds through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass while we follow the Ziz River’s natural path.

You will switch to camelback for your dune crossing in the afternoon after your arrival at Merzouga, which is located at the Sahara border. We will maintain our stop so you can appreciate the beautiful sunset view from the top of a tall dune. The journey continues to the luxurious descamp cam,p which offers guests the opportunity to experience Berber drumming and dancing around the bonfire beneath a vast starry sky. The camp provides dinner service to guests who will stay overnight.

Day 2: Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove

The beautiful sunrise across the desert needs you to wake up early. After breakfast time will begin, which follows this period. The camel journey will take us back to Merzoug,  where your transportation awaits you. The entire day is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga area. The location offers many incredible features, which include large dunes and a natural lake, mining areas and fossil sites, and stunning oases. The sites provide optimal conditions for various outdoor activities.

The Merzouga area exploration starts with us driving off-road to reach an ancient kohl (eyeliner) mine. The next plan involves visiting the nomadic people who use their traditional tent system. The location offers you an opportunity to learn about their way of life through the Berber tea service. The village of Khamlia serves as our next destination,n where Gnaoua musical and dance showcases await. The indigenous population here originated from sub-Saharan countries, es which include Mali, Sudan, and Niger. The local dining establishment provides a lunch break for visitors. The day concludes with dinner followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Our expedition starts after breakfast when we depart from the desert to reach Rissani, which served as the main city of Tafilalet during its historical period. The town of Rissani serves as a vital trade center for the region because its marketplace operates at peak activity on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After visiting the Rissani Souk, our group will travel to Erfoud to see a facility that processes fossilized marble. Our route will take us through the Touroug and Tinjdad palm oases until we reach the Todra Gorges. The Todra River has created a stunning canyon, in which it has produced cliffs that rise dramatically in red color. The canyon functions as an ideal site for people who want to practice rock climbing. The gorges provide visitors with an opportunity to experience their natural beauty. We will eat lunch at a restaurant after we finish our meal. The route extends toward Dades Valley through the town of Boumalne Dades. The day ends with dinner and our stay overnight at a hotel.

In May, the Rose Festival occurs at that location, which features local artisans displaying their rose-based products that include perfumes, rosewater, oils, and various cosmetic items. We will have lunch whenever we want to eat. We will travel through the Skoura palm oases to reach our first stop at the Kasbah of Amridil. Ouarzazate marks our last stop for the day, where we will visit both the film studios that produced famous movies and the Kasbah of Taourirt. The day ends with us eating dinner at a hotel, where we will spend the night.

Day 5: Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
