Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Aït Ben Haddou – Erg Chebbi Desert
After breakfast, you will begin your 4-day Morocco student tour by traveling through the High Atlas Mountains and crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Along the way, you will visit Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient kasbah and as a filming location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. The route continues through Ouarzazate, the ‘Hollywood of Africa,’ then through Dades Valley and Tinghir, before reaching the Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Desert.
