On the second day, we’ll visit the impressive Todra Gorge, a narrow canyon with towering cliffs, then drive through the lush palm groves of the Ziz Valley. Our journey ends in Merzouga, where you’ll ride camels into the Sahara at sunset for an unforgettable experience. Day 1 :Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Boumaln Dades

Your 3-day student trip from Marrakech to Boumalne Dades begins with amazing views of the Atlas Mountains. As you cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which rises to 2,260 meters, you’ll see the landscape change from green valleys to the dry lands near the Sahara Desert. The first stop is Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient earthen buildings and winding paths. This well-preserved fortified village has appeared in many movies and TV shows, giving you a glimpse into Morocco’s history. Next, you’ll visit the Ouarzazate film studios, where famous films were made in the desert. You can see how movies are created as you tour the soundstages and filming locations. The journey continues to the Valley of Roses, where the air is filled with the scent of flowers, and local shops make rose water. Take in the beautiful scenery and sweet smells before heading to the Amridil Kasbah. Located in the Skoura Oasis, this historic building shows traditional Moroccan architecture and daily life from the past. The day ends in Boumalne Dades, where you’ll find the dramatic Dades Gorge. Shaped over thousands of years by the Dades River, this natural wonder is the perfect end to a day full of culture and stunning sights.

Day 2 :Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga desert

On the second day of your 3-day trip from Marrakech to Merzouga, you’ll travel through the Dades Valley, named after the river that flows through it. The river has carved the valley into impressive gorges and canyons, offering stunning views. After breakfast, we’ll head to the Dades Gorges, a stretch of dramatic limestone cliffs in the High Atlas Mountains. These gorges run for over 100 kilometers and reach depths of up to 1,000 meters, with steep rock walls, waterfalls, and caves. The area is home to many plants and animals, including the rare Barbary macaque.
 
Next, we’ll visit some traditional Old Berber Villages before stopping for lunch in Rissani. Afterward, we’ll make our way to the Merzouga Desert. When we arrive, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of cool mint tea. Then, you’ll set out on a camel ride to watch the sunset, which fills the desert with a beautiful, almost magical light as the sun dips behind the dunes. In the evening, we’ll enjoy dinner, watch the stars, and spend a peaceful night in the desert’s quiet.

Day 3 :Merzouga – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Marrakech

The Merzouga Desert is famous for its wide dunes and stunning desert views. Its popularity grew after movies like *The Mummy* and *Lawrence of Arabia* were filmed here, inspiring people from around the world to visit this special place in Morocco. Watch the sunrise light up the desert landscape. After breakfast, you’ll ride your camel back toward the edge of Merzouga town. Your driver will be waiting nearby to take you on a scenic drive through green oases, small villages, and changing landscapes as you head back to Marrakech.
