You’ll start by exploring Marrakech and Essaouira, then travel through the impressive High Atlas Mountains and see the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Next, visit the historic Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah and the city of Ouarzazate. After an adventure at Amridil Kasbah, continue to the Dades Valley and the dramatic Todra Gorges. The journey then takes you to the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where you can enjoy camel trekking, watch beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and spend a night under the stars in a desert camp. You’ll also cross the Merzouga Sahara Desert in a 4×4 vehicle.
Next, visit the traditional market in Rissani before heading to Erfoud, a city known for its fossils. Then travel to Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco, where you can walk through scenic cedar forests and spot Barbary macaques. You’ll also explore the imperial cities of Fes and Meknes. The tour wraps up with a visit to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and finishes in the famous blue town of Chefchaouen and Tangier.

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Spend 10 days exploring Morocco, starting in Marrakech. When you arrive at Marrakech Airport, you will be picked up and taken into the city. After a short drive, you will settle into your riad, a traditional Moroccan house, where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful first night.

Day 2: Marrakech – Essaouira

After breakfast, we’ll head west, with Essaouira as our final stop. On the way, we’ll visit an Argan tree farm and a local cooperative. If we’re lucky, we might even see goats climbing the trees. After a short break to enjoy the views, we’ll continue to Essaouira, a beautiful seaside town once known as Mogador. Once there, you’ll have free time to explore the fishing port, walk along the sea walls with their old artillery, and wander through the historic medina. We’ll spend the night in Essaouira.

Day 3: Essaouira – Guided Tour sightseeing in Marrakech

We return to Marrakech today, where a local guide will show us some of the city’s most famous sights. Marrakech is one of Morocco’s great imperial cities, rich in history and stunning architecture. Our tour will include:
The beautiful Bahia Palace, which was built in the 1800s,
The well-preserved Ben Youssef Madrasa, once an Islamic school, shows classic Moroccan artistry.
Besides, you’ll make your way through the busy Medina and its lively souks, full of colourful displays and skilled craftspeople. Take in the energy of Jamaa El Fna Square, and see the famous Koutoubia Mosque, a landmark on the city’s skyline.

Day 4: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah– Roses Valley – Dades Valley

The tour takes you through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains, offering views of the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass and stops at several spots to enjoy stunning scenery and see Berber villages.
The famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, known for its strong walls, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Many movies, such as Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as TV shows such as Game of Thrones, were filmed here. You can take a 40-minute walk to visit the kasbah and enjoy wide views from the top.
Next, we head to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert, where you will have free time for lunch. After that, we travel through the palm groves of Skoura to the Rose Valley. We finish the day in Boumalne Dades, where we will spend the night and enjoy dinner.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes – Camel trekking – overnight in a luxury camp ( 5 hours Drive )

After breakfast, we set out for the Dades Valley and stop at a beautiful viewpoint. Next, we visit the impressive Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has shaped a canyon surrounded by tall red cliffs. You’ll have some free time to walk through the gorge and enjoy the scenery.
We continue our journey through the green palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, stopping for lunch on the way.
In the afternoon, we reach the golden dunes of the Merzouga Sahara Desert, where camels will be ready for us. You’ll take a peaceful camel ride across the sand and stop on a high dune to watch the sunset. Afterwards, you’ll head to a comfortable desert camp and be greeted with Berber hospitality. After dinner, enjoy Berber drumming and dancing by the campfire before spending the night at the camp.

Day 6: Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – Palm Grove

If you want to see the beautiful desert sunrise, plan to wake up early. After some free time, enjoy breakfast before heading to Merzouga by camel or 4×4, where a shuttle will meet you. The rest of the day is yours to explore Merzouga. You can visit the vast dunes, a wild lake, old mines, fossil fields, and beautiful oases, each offering its own adventure.
After leaving Merzouga, we will drive off-road to visit an old eyeliner mine. Then we will meet nomadic families in their hand-woven tents and share Berber tea. Next, we will visit the village of Khamlia to enjoy Gnaoua music and dancing. Many people in Khamlia have roots in Mali, Sudan, and Niger. You will have free time for lunch at a local restaurant. Later, we will walk through a palm grove and travel a few kilometres to see Merzouga’s wild lake, also known as the flamingo lake. The day finishes with dinner and an overnight stay in a riad near the dunes.
 

Day 7: Merzouga Dunes – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedars forest – Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast, we left the desert and headed to Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a key trading hub, and its market comes alive on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. We explored the market, then drove to Erfoud to visit a fossilised marble workshop.
We continued along the Ziz River and paused to enjoy the wide view of the Ziz valley. You can have lunch on your own in Midelt or at a spot along the way. After lunch, we visit the cedar forest, where you can feed Barbary macaques while walking among the trees. Our next stop is Ifrane, known for its cool weather, snow, and Alpine-style houses, earning it the nickname “the Switzerland of Morocco.” We finish the day in Fez, where you have the evening free to explore the Medina

Day 8: Guided tour sightseeing in Fes

After breakfast, we will start our imperial cities tour of Morocco with our local guide, visiting the main attractions. Fes is not only a royal city but also the spiritual centre of Morocco and one of its three imperial cities.
Our guide will meet us at the designated spot to start the day by leading us to the Royal Palace entrance. Next, we will drive through the neighbourhood once known as “the Mellah” by the Jewish community. We will then head to a historic citadel with clear views of the ancient Medina and all of Fes.
Next, we will explore the ancient Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been well preserved since medieval times. We will visit the Blue Gate, the main entrance to the historic city of Bab Boujloud. Our guide will lead us on a walking tour of key sites, including Bouanania Madrasa, Najjarine Fountain, and the Tanneries. The tour ends with a visit to Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, known as the oldest operating university in the world.
In the afternoon, your driver will take you back to your accommodation once the scheduled activities are finished. You will have the rest of the day free.

Day 9: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis ruins – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we head to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. We’ll visit Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal Stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then you’ll have some free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll drive about 30 km from Meknes to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. This well-preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its many beautiful mosaics on the old columns and arches.
After visiting the Roman site, we’ll travel north through Ouazzane to Chefchaouen, a town set in the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen, often called the Blue City, is famous for its charming streets and blue-painted buildings. You’ll have the evening free to relax and soak in the town’s unique atmosphere. Tonight, you’ll stay in a local riad.

Day 10: Transfer to Tangier Airport

After breakfast, we drive through the scenic Rif Mountains to Tangier Airport, marking the end of our memorable 10-day tour from Marrakech.
Depending on your flight time, you may have a few hours to explore the blue-washed alleys of Chefchaouen or take a short city tour of Tangier.

The Camel ride is 40 minutes to 1.5 hours long, depending on which camp you are staying in.

The meeting point for the tour is at 09 a.m. at any location within Marrakech. If your Riad is accessible by car, we will pick you up directly from there. In case of accessibility issues, we will pick you up from the nearest accessible road point. This can be arranged upon confirmation of your booking.

At the end of the tour, we will drop you off at any location in Tangier or its surroundings.

Currency Exchange : Euros or USD can be exchanged for Moroccan Dirham (MAD) at various locations throughout Morocco, including banks and currency exchange bureaus. Additionally, ATMs are widely available for cash withdrawals.

While credit cards and foreign currencies (Euros/USD) are generally accepted, it is advisable to carry local currency (MAD) for convenience and ease of transactions.
