Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Chefchaouen

Your 10-Day Morocco Tour begins in Tangier, where we will pick you up from your hotel, the airport, or the ferry terminal. Tangier, often called “the Bride of the North,” sits where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, close to Cape Spartel. We will start by exploring the city, including visits to the Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel. You will have an hour to enjoy lunch whenever you like. Afterward, we will head south by land to Chefchaouen, stopping in Tetouan and crossing the scenic Rif Mountains. You will spend the night in a traditional riad in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Chefchaouen / Blue City Sightseeing ( NO Driving / 2 Hours Walking Tour )

After breakfast, we will explore Chefchaouen with a local guide. The Berbers call this city Achaoun, meaning “horns.” Chefchaouen is set in the Rif Mountains of northwestern Morocco and is known for its white-and-blue-painted buildings and narrow streets. Our first activity is a walk through the historic Medina, where you can see the famous blue doors and whitewashed walls. You are free to choose when and where to have lunch. In the afternoon, you can join a trek to the Spanish Mosque, which offers sweeping views of the blue city. After our activities, we will return to the hotel, where you will spend the night as before.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Roman ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, enjoy a final walk through the streets of Chefchaouen. Next, we will drive to Volubilis, a famous Roman site recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its beautiful mosaics, columns, and arches. From there, we will travel about 30 kilometres to Meknes, once the capital of Sultan Moulay Ismail. In Meknes, you will see the impressive Bab al-Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani water reservoir, the old Royal Stables and granaries, and the tomb of Moulay Ismail. Our last stop for the day is Fes, where you will spend the night in a traditional Riad.

Day 4: Guided Tour sightseeing in Fes

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your Riad in Fes to begin your exploration of one of Morocco’s most important imperial cities. Fes is known as the country’s spiritual and cultural heart.
Your tour starts with a drive around the city. First, we will stop at the impressive Royal Palace Gate, then visit the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter. Next, you can enjoy great views of the old city from the Borj Sud fort. This part of the tour ends at the Ceramic Village and School, where you can watch traditional artisans at work.
The subsequent phase involves an in-depth pedestrian tour. You will transition into the ancient, walled Medina, a UNESCO-listed site renowned as one of the most intact historic urban centres in the Arab world. With an expert local guide leading the way, you will discover key landmarks, including the Al Attarine Madrasa, the Al Quaraouiyine University and Mosque (often cited as the world’s oldest operational university), and the vibrant Chouara Tanneries, where leather processing relies on methods dating back many centuries.
Upon conclusion of this memorable historical traversal, you will be transferred back to your Riad for some well-deserved rest.

Day 5: Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara

After breakfast, your 10-day Moroccan adventure heads south, passing through Imouzzer and stopping in Ifrane. Known for its cool weather, winter snow, and chalet-style buildings, Ifrane is often called “Morocco’s Switzerland.” From there, you’ll visit the cedar forests, home to wild Barbary apes. The journey continues to Midelt, where you’ll have free time for lunch, then crosses the Tizi n’Talghamt Pass and follows the Ziz Valley, with plenty of scenic stops along the way.
Later in the day, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll switch to camels to cross the sand, stopping on a high dune to watch the sunset. The day ends at your desert camp, where traditional nomadic tents are combined with modern comforts. In the evening, enjoy Berber drumming around a bonfire under the stars. Dinner will be served, and you’ll spend the night at the desert camp.

Day 6: Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga Lake – Erg Chebbi – Palm Grove

After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Merzouga region. You’ll find sweeping dunes, a seasonal lake, old mining sites, fossil-rich areas, and green palm groves—great spots for outdoor adventures.
Take an off-road trip to visit an abandoned kohl (eye makeup) mine. Then, meet local nomadic families in their traditional woven homes and enjoy authentic Berber mint tea together.
Next, visit the village of Khamlia to experience the rhythms of Gnawa music and dance. After lunch on your own, take a walk through a palm oasis. Then, head to Merzouga’s seasonal lake, where you might see flocks of flamingos. Return to Merzouga for dinner and spend the night at a local Riad or desert camp.
 

Day 7: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Start your day early to catch the sunrise. After breakfast, leave the desert behind and travel to Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet and an important trading centre. Its lively market is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Next, head to Erfoud to visit a workshop that crafts items from fossilised marble.

The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional Riad.

Day 8: Day: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakesh

After breakfast, you will head to Kalaa Mgouna to explore the Valley of Roses. If you visit in May, you can enjoy the annual Rose Festival, which features local products such as rosewater, perfumes, and beauty items. Next, you will pass through the Skoura palm oases to visit the Kasbah of Amredhyle, then continue to Ouarzazate for a guided tour of the film studios.
The next stop is the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its roles in movies like Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as the TV series Game of Thrones. You will then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with planned stops for refreshments and photos. The day ends with an overnight stay in a traditional riad in Marrakesh.

Day 9: Guided Tour sightseeing Marrakesh

After a filling breakfast, we’ll set out to explore Marrakesh’s top sights with a local guide. As one of Morocco’s former capitals, the city is full of history and impressive landmarks. Our tour will include visits to the beautiful nineteenth-century Bahia Palace and the well-preserved Ben Youssef Madrasa, once an Islamic college known for its stunning Moroccan architecture. You’ll also get to stroll through the lively Medina and its colourful markets, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Jamaa El Fna Square, and see the outside of the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest religious building in the city.
You’ll have free time for lunch at midday. Later, your driver will take you to the famous Majorelle Garden (please remember to book your ticket online in advance). After that, we’ll drive through Gueliz, the modern part of Marrakesh, before heading back to your Riad for the evening.

Day 10: Marrakech or Casablanca Airports

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakesh and drive to Casablanca. If your flight schedule allows, we can visit the Hassan II Mosque before heading to the airport. This marks the end of your 10-Day Morocco Tour from Tangier, which began in Tangier. If you prefer, we can also arrange for the tour to end in Marrakech.

The Camel ride is 40 minutes to 1.5 hours long, depending on which camp you are staying in.

The meeting point for the tour is at 09 a.m. at any location within Marrakech. If your Riad is accessible by car, we will pick you up directly from there. In case of accessibility issues, we will pick you up from the nearest accessible road point. This can be arranged upon confirmation of your booking.

At the end of the tour, we will drop you off at any location in Tangier or its surroundings.

Currency Exchange : Euros or USD can be exchanged for Moroccan Dirham (MAD) at various locations throughout Morocco, including banks and currency exchange bureaus. Additionally, ATMs are widely available for cash withdrawals.

While credit cards and foreign currencies (Euros/USD) are generally accepted, it is advisable to carry local currency (MAD) for convenience and ease of transactions.
